Course Prospects
This short learning programme focuses on strengthening teachers’ knowledge base in the area of Mathematical Literacy, thus equipping them to teach this new subject more confidently and efficiently at Further Education and Training (FET) Level.
This course should be taken together with Understanding the National Curriculum Statement and Mathematical Literacy, which deals with strategies for the teaching of these key concepts and knowledge.
