Course Prospects
This short learning programme focuses on strengthening teachers’ knowledge base in the area of Life Orientation, thus equipping you to teach this new compulsory subject more confidently and efficiently at Further Education and Training (FET) level.
This course should be taken together with Understanding the National Curriculum Statement and Life Orientation, which deals with strategies for the teaching of these key concepts and knowledge.
Entrance Requirements
You must be competent in English and have
- Theoretical, academic and practical professional knowledge and understanding at NQF Level 5

Assessment
