Lyceum College’s education courses provide a valuable opportunity for teachers to solidify their knowledge of the subject areas they teach, and keep up to date with the National Curriculum Statement and the latest teaching theories and methodologies.

With the recent addition of new subjects such as Life Orientation, and the amalgamation of others such as Economics and Management Studies, many teachers find themselves teaching subject matter that they are not entirely familiar with. These courses will empower teachers to teach an Outcomes Based curriculum, integrating various disciples when needed.

These courses are paired, one focusing on subject knowledge and the other directed towards the planning, teaching and assessing of the subject. Once teachers have acquired the knowledge and skills taught in these courses, they will be thoroughly equipped to provide their learners with the best possible education.
