Once you have successfully completed this course, you will be awarded a Lyceum College Higher Certificate in Fleet Management.
This certificate provides students with a comprehensive theoretical and practical understanding of fleet management, together with a range of related academic skills and competencies. Learners will acquire a range of competencies pertaining to short term rental management, industry market analysis, concepts of fleet management, maintenance and the management of vehicle selection and procurement. It also focuses on the organisation, accounting principles and sales management in commercial fleet operations. The qualification reflects the needs of the fleet management sector, and is aimed at developing the skills required in this sector.
The qualification will introduce learners to fleet management, and will benefit those learners who are involved within the corporate environment, those who manage government or private fleets and those learners who own their own business and wish to develop their skills in fleet operations.
The certificate aims to strengthen a learner’s ability to deal with the practical demands placed on practitioners in the fleet management environment. The qualification will produce knowledgeable, skilled individuals who are able to contribute to improved customer relations and improve efficiency within the fleet management industry. The programme articulates to the 3 year Diploma in Fleet Management.
Grade 12 - National Senior Certificate, or any other equivalent qualification as prescribed.
